NearMatch

How it works

NearMatch only works in real places, with people who are really there.

1. 01

Check in at a real place

A bar, a café, a gym, a park. Your phone confirms you are actually there.

2. 02

   See who’s here

Discover the people checked in at the same place as you, right now.

3. 03

   Match

When you both like each other, it’s a match.

4. 04

45 minutes to meet in person

The countdown starts. Find each other before it runs out.

5. 05

   Share the 4-digit code

When you meet, one of you shows a code and the other types it in.

6. 06

   The chat stays

Code confirmed: the conversation is yours to keep. If time runs out, the match and its chat disappear.

Safe by design

You meet in a public place where you both already are, and help is never far away.

• 18+

  Adults only

NearMatch is for people aged 18 and over. Accounts that appear to belong to a minor are removed.

• Report and block

From any profile or chat. A block ends any match between you, and you stop seeing each other.

• Human moderation

Our moderators review every report and act within 24 hours.

• Photo checks

Photos are screened automatically when they are uploaded. An optional selfie check earns a verified badge.
